<p dir="ltr">These data are collected for the NASA-funded BioSCape Project: “<a href="https://www.bioscape.io/science" target="_blank">Impacts of Invasive Alien Species on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Functioning</a>”. The dataset was curated for the causal inference analysis, and includes training data points of invasive alien trees and other classes for the three study sites in Cape Floristic Region (<b>Figure </b><b>1</b>). The dataset was prepared according to the following pre-agreed criteria:</p><ul><li>Collect as many points as possible</li><li>The classes do not need an even number of points</li><li>Points should be paired if possible (i.e. an invasive alien tree point should have a corresponding non-invaded, or fynbos point), but we should not exclude points that are un-paired (Field: “Paired_Yes_or_No”)</li><li>To avoid bias, the points should cover as many different sampling units as possible</li></ul><p></p>
